ECHOES IN RUINS, 2024
Moving Image | Installation
ECHOES IN RUINS uses abandoned architecture as its backdrop, leveraging natural light, airflow generated by fans, fabrics, and the interaction of dancers’ bodies to construct an ever-changing, unpredictable dynamic field. Drawing on Derrida’s concept of ‘différance,’ the piece reveals a delay and difference in meaning: the old order has collapsed, the new order has yet to take shape, and meaning emerges in this continuous process of becoming, perpetually fluid and unformed.
