Personal Statement
Lingyi’s multidisciplinary practice spans photography, experimental animation, film, installation, and experimental theatre. Through diverse media, she explores the boundaries and entanglements between human perception, technology, and narrative. Her recent work investigates power structures in the age of AI and digital mediation, focusing on how technological systems intervene in and reshape perceptual experience. Her current projects examine how technologies exceed their role as tools or media to become environmental forces that reshape relationships between bodies, infrastructures, and belief systems.
